The Tower Grove Farmers’ Market is open Saturdays from 8am-12:30pm, mid-April through mid-November, in beautiful Tower Grove Park.
The market is located just west of Center Cross Drive in the heart of the park at 4256 Magnolia Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
The Tower Grove Farmers’ Market launched in 2006 with a phenomenal amount of community support. Since then that support has only grown and the market has gone from hosting 13 vendors per week in 2006 to over 60 per week in 2017. What started as a way for co-founders Patrick Horine and Jennifer Ryan to give back to the Tower Grove neighborhood they had fallen in love with has turned into a bustling community event and the largest grower-only farmers’ market in the St Louis region.
Several small businesses in St Louis have started at the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market and the market increasingly serves as a small business incubator. The list of businesses and farms that got their start at the market includes:
- Kakao Chocolate
- Salume Beddu
- Traveling Tea
- Double Star Farms
- Whisk Bakeshop
- Kitchen Kulture
- Three Rivers Community Farm
- Stuart James Specialties
- Urban Buds & City Grown Flowers
- Fresh Start Dog Food
- Jansen Sharpening
The Tower Grove Farmers’ Market has won multiple awards including a Quality of Life Award from the City of St. Louis, the A-List award from St Louis Magazine, Best Farmers’ Market awards from Sauce Magazine, Alive Magazine, and The Riverfront Times, and a proclamation from the Mayor of St Louis.
